The sensor, depending on the modification, is designed for continuous automatic monitoring of methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), toxic gases (e.g. CO) or oxygen in the atmosphere of mine workings (including coal mines) dangerous for mine gas or dust and for transmitting information about the measured concentration in analog and digital form. The sensor can be used as an independent measuring device, as well as connected to various mine atmosphere monitoring systems and has both an analog output of 0.4-2.0V and a digital output of RS485 (MODBUS RTU). The removable design of the sensor sensor element allows you to place it both directly on the sensor housing and to take it out to a distance of up to 5 m. The sensor is equipped with a "dry" contact based on an optorele for controlling external actuators.
